Three-Generation Kenya Safari

A multi-generational route with flexible pacing, accessible activities and memorable shared wildlife experiences.

Your safari is private, so departure times, activity length and camp selection can be adjusted. We refine the final route according to season, wildlife movement and your preferred level of comfort.

Your journey, day by day

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival & private welcome in Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), where a Legacy representative welcomes you and assists with your private transfer. Settle into your accommodation, recover from the journey and meet your safari specialist or guide for an unhurried briefing. We review the route, daily rhythm, luggage, dietary needs and any optional experiences so you begin the safari knowing exactly what to expect. If your flight arrives early, the remainder of the day stays deliberately light rather than trying to force sightseeing into your arrival schedule.

Stay: Boutique Nairobi hotel   ·   Meals: Dinner
Day 2

Travel to Ol Pejeta Conservancy & first exploration

After breakfast, leave Nairobi and continue privately toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The transfer is treated as part of the journey rather than lost time: your guide plans sensible comfort stops, points out changes in landscape and, where appropriate, includes wildlife or cultural stops en route. After arriving and settling in, begin a private conservation day with excellent rhino viewing, broad plains and opportunities to understand some of Kenya’s leading wildlife protection work. Game drives remain flexible and personally paced. The timing remains flexible so the day can respond to road conditions, seasonal wildlife and how you are feeling. The pace is family-friendly, with regular breaks and activity lengths adjusted to the ages and energy levels of your group. Return to your lodge or camp with time to refresh before dinner and a briefing for the following day.

Stay: Ol Pejeta lodge   ·   Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

If you are extending the journey to another East African country, the coast or a mountain program, the handover is arranged as part of the same itinerary so there is no uncertainty between services. Your final documents will show the exact transfer, meal and luggage arrangements for this day.
