After breakfast, transfer privately to Arusha Airport for your scenic flight into Northern Serengeti.
Flying saves a long day on the road and brings you directly into one of the most exciting wildlife regions in Africa. Upon landing, your private safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to One Nature Mara River. After check-in and time to settle into camp, head out in the late afternoon for your first game drive. This is your introduction to migration country, where vast herds gather across the northern plains and predators follow their movements.
Return to camp as the sun sets over the Serengeti.
Depart early this morning while the wilderness is cool and wildlife is at its most active.
Your guide will follow reports and movements of the migration herds, exploring the Mara River and surrounding plains in search of large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra.
The river crossing itself cannot be scheduled—sometimes thousands of animals gather along the riverbanks for hours or even days before deciding to cross. Having a private guide gives you the flexibility to position yourself where the action is developing.
Return to camp for a hot lunch and some relaxation before heading out again for an afternoon game drive.

Your guide will assess the movement of the herds and determine where the best wildlife activity is developing. If wildebeest begin gathering near a crossing point, you can patiently wait. If the herds have moved, your private vehicle gives you the freedom to follow them.
Between migration encounters, Northern Serengeti offers outstanding year-round wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards and other plains game.
Enjoy your final evening overlooking this remarkable wilderness.
After breakfast, leave the Mara River region and begin your journey south towards Central Serengeti.
This is much more than a transfer day. Your route becomes an extended game drive through changing Serengeti landscapes, with opportunities to encounter wildlife throughout the journey.
As you approach the Seronera region, the scenery changes to open grasslands, rocky kopjes and river valleys. Central Serengeti is particularly renowned for its excellent resident predator population, offering outstanding opportunities to search for lions, leopards and cheetahs.
Arrive at your luxury camp later in the day and settle in for the evening.
Enjoy a final game drive through Central Serengeti as you begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Depart early this morning and descend into the extraordinary Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations.
The crater floor supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, wildebeest and zebras. Ngorongoro is also an important sanctuary for Tanzania's endangered black rhinoceros, making a rhino encounter one of the day's most treasured possibilities.
After your morning safari, return to the lodge for a hot lunch and time to relax. Later, enjoy further exploration of the Ngorongoro landscape, subject to park regulations and permits.
Enjoy a leisurely morning before departing the Ngorongoro highlands for nearby Karatu.
